E. Church needs SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS logo

This request was about a year ago. I do not want it done again.

See the post by rommel 109 later in the thread. He is asking you to create a San Antonio Missions for him, using the logo I will try to post in this first post.

I need the SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS.

You are free to design your own logo...just use black, white and gold colors.

Or use these instructions to design what I would like:

Go to www.minorleaguebaseball.com and choose under teams "San Antonio Missions".

This will take you to their website and you can get a good look at their current logo.

If possible, please make these changes:

Make "MISSIONS" in BLACK LETTERING trimmed in WHITE.

Take "SAN ANTONIO" and place it above the mission...keep the gold "star" on the logo.

Make "SAN ANTONIO" in WHITE LETTERING...make it LARGER than in the current logo, so it will show up in the game better.

Make the background BLACK.

And put a small BLACK FRAME...with a SMALL WHITE STRIP to separate it from the overall black background... around the entire logo. (what you will have will be a black frame next to a white frame...then the overall black background).

And if you can...add a GOLD "S" trimmed in WHITE on the left hand side just above the mission building...and a GOLD "A" trimmed in WHITE on the right hand just above the mission. Use an appropriate font...can be a little fancy...just make sure it is easy to read. The white trim will make it show up better on the black background.

Remove the baseball and bat.

No rush...take a week or two...or longer.

Even though you were as clear as possible, i think this is what you wanted. The black on gold is horrid though, at least in my opinon.

Yours is excellent...great colors...excellent design...excellent color contrast.

If you would...could you put "SA" on the left hand side opposite the "Star"?...maybe a little fancy font.

It's your call...it's your creation...don't let me ruin it.

You are totally correct...the gold is abominable.

Could you make it the light "SAND" color Henry used in his?

Make the mission building and the star that SAND color.

Or do it in the colors you like...you are very good at color cordination.

Excellent work...really like the black and white framing.

You are welcome to do your own design...you guys always do it better than me.

I'm going to highjack another of Eugene's threads.

I need a Missions one as well, only I need one for the 1980 San Jose Missions. I love that you incorporated the statr to represent Texas, and it gave me the idea to have a bear somehow involved to represent California. Not sure if it would work or not, but even a simple SJ Missions logo would be very appreciated.

Two final requests on this excellent logo...which is almost perfect...

I really like your mission design...it's far better than the one the real San Antonio Missions use.

Could you make the "S" look more like an "S" than a "6"?

What do you think "SA" would look like combined like the "STL" for the Cardinals...or the "NY" for the Yankees...or "SF" for the Giants?

That's the least I do for someone who did about 30 or 40 logos for me...and very good ones, too.

I hope people don't take offense at me being "so picky" about the logos...especially when you guys are doing me a huge favor just by doing one version...much less multi-versions.

I"m just happy to get what I get...but will still ask for a change...and it's fine if I get it...or even if I don't get it...which rarely happens.

Now as far as the interlocked "SA"...THAT IS BRILLIANT.

Is it possible for you to add it to Henry's SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS?

Maybe make it just a little larger than his...so it will be a little more prominent.

Use your own judgment, if you try it.

Thanks for a great font and letter design...It rivals the MLB lettering I mentioned previously...Cards, Yanks, etc.

I don't think anyone minds Eugene. Most of us are making them because we like them, and it's always more fun to get it the way that the requester wants it. You've always been very kind to everyone, and I think that people like doing them for you. I know that I do.

The SAND color looks great...The design is excellent...font excellent...and thanks for the two choices...both are very good.

I prefer first remake...like the framing better than #2.

Could you make the "SA" BLACK...so it will show up better.

Don't do it if it takes too much time.
