Pedro=Coward

Unbelievable to see Pedro toss Zimmer to the ground. I hate the Yankees, but I hope they destroy the Sox. P. Martinez should be suspended for the rest of the playoffs.

Who gives a ****.. he was swinging at him... Being old isn't a free pass to go after somebody and not expect them to go back

Pedro should have handled it better, but the fact remains that Zimmer went after him.

I KNEW with this forum I would see someone crucifying Martinez for this...Zimmer went after him, I thought Pedro did the best available option with his OLE technique. If Zimmer was 50 this wouldn't be a big deal, but Zimmer would be ejected for going after Pedro.

Zimmer wanted to hit him and got tossed down, simple.

Now Ramirez getting pissed over a ball not even close to him well bad blood can only make for a good series

How could Pedro handle THAT better, I mean I am sure he was shocked as hell, as well as I would be...a 72 man coming after you, that was a reflex...and he looked totally shocked after the fact while he was backing up.

Calling Pedro a coward isn't right... the man came after him and swung. However, calling Pedro stupid for not handling it properly is more appropriate. Zimmer, Pedro, Garcia, and Manny were all idiots in this situation. There's not one person you can blame

I agree 100%. Ramirez was being a wussy. Clemens' pitch was nowhere near him. The catcher set up over the plate, and he raised his glove straight up, two feet, because Clemens missed high. But the pitch was nowhere near Ramirez.

What a pussy!

Manny overreacting was pretty bad. Yeah. Either he was just wanting to start something or he didn't realize it was that far away cause he looked straight down as he was moving...

Who knows.. I love this rivalry.

Manny was looking for a fight it seems. Or was looking for a beanball pitch that did not happen. The pitch looked like it was over the plate and just high.
Manny overreacted and needs to grow a set of something.

Ramirez AND Clemens were looking for trouble. Clemens threw that pitch as close as he dared. Clemens is the only coward here. If he had the guts that he thinks he has, he'd have plunked him.

I'm not sure how you know this. Can you please give me the web address of your crystal ball manufacturer?

How can we be sure Pedro was saying. " I will hit you in your head. " and not, " You should use your head. "

You seem to have it all figured out.

I don't need a crystal ball, only common sense. Clemens registered his displeasure at the umps chopping his dick off regarding the retaliation for hitting Garcia. The kind of guy who would throw a broken bat at someone is the kind of guy who can't back away without getting some sort of shot in.

Pedro and Clemens mean to hit a batter probably 80% of the time that they do. These guys have legendary command and legendarily hot heads.

We all know who started this. Pedro. Hitting Garcia and nearly taking his head off. Careers get ruined, and it's dangerous.

Manny was being a pussy. Clemens' pitch wasn't even close. He was clearly trying to persuade an umpire into thinking Clemens was throwing at him, and clearly he was not.

Pedro's an ass.
Clemens is an idiot.
Ramirez is a pussy.
Zimmer is a fireplug.
Glanville is clutch.
