Lahman Import Problem

OK - I'm not sure about this, but I tried it twice and came up with the same problem. I imported the 1969 season from the Lahman v4 database and everything was pretty much OK with the import. I went in to change Nolan Ryan to a starter and noticed as I was perusing the screens that his career ERA was 0.05 on the career page. He had some really wacked out numbers for the 1966 season, like 2 games pitched and several thousand IP, etc. No numbers for 1967, accurate numbers for 1968, but skewed numbers for career since it includes the wacked out 1966 numbers. My first thought was there was an error in the Lahman database, but when I look at the 1966 entry for Nolan Ryan it appears to be correct. I imported the 1969 season again and found the exact same info. Am I missing something?
