Cato Question
What directory should we put for the HTML file directory? Is it the league_news_box thing or is it something else?

Do you mean what folder you use for the OOTP html files that Cato History reads or what folder you output the final html from Cato History?
If the former just create a folder in the OOTP History folder (I use "OOTPhtml") then insert that folder path in Cato History (under options). If the later I think OOTP History already creates a folder called "website" that it outputs the final history files to. Hope that is helpful, but if I misunderstood your question please clarify further. |

I meant the first one, but where are the files that it reads? Oh wait, does it create them and then read them the other times you use it?

To create the HTMLs that it reads.....
go into online setup (I know...your league is a solo league, but trust me)...now..notice on the bottom left it has 5 buttons: Destination folder, Generate player pages, include box scores, and include game logs, and generate report. You can click no to game logs and player pages and select 0 days for boxscores. The only thing the utility needs is for you to generate the general report which can be done by just hitting the generate report button. As far as where the HTMLs go...it will be what ever path you have typed into the destination button. Once the HTMLs are generated you will need to point the History Utility to where they were put. After that you should be good to go.....I hope that made sense...I should have been asleep by now....but damn playoffs are on and can't sleep...lol |
