GFBL need some expansion votes...

the voting is now 8-3, seems like we are going to expand after all. However I am all ears to hear any comment about either the pro's or con's of expanding. The votes alone are not enough to make my final decision.

How is this going to work? Are you going to expand just one team, or two? If one team, how will the schedule work?

I'll only expand one team, and I'll customize the schedule. However with an odd number of teams, each team will only be able to play 160 games.

I've made a final decision, there will not be expansion this coming season. I'll consider expansion after the 2004 season. However this doesn't mean that new players can't sign up, in fact, the more players signing up, the more possiblity of expansion.

I came to this decision because the league is not yet big enough to suppport 5 teams. And judging from the first season, players get injured pretty often and extra reserved players are needed to pinch in. I really don't want another "pete kahle" incident to happen again.

well, the the most active people in your league should be the best players....nothing would be more frusterating for me if I am one of the people who follows my player all the time and I sit out half the time.......know what I mean?

you wont be sitting out. I am sure of it. Why are you even worried, you are one of the better players in the league.

Yeah, I can sure use more players. And if we have expansion right now, not only would I not get more players, I'd also have to give up one. Once I get around 20-25 players on my roster, I will have no problem with expanding. I'm sure by the end of next year, though, we'll be ready to expand.
