Nothing is rigged - you can put that in the bank

I've had winning streaks reach 11 games once. The post season however is an entirely different manner.

One season I had winning streaks of 18 and 17 games on my way to a 125-37 record. I have the best team I have ever had in any ootp game. Two years later my team finished 129-33 while winning a fourth straight world series.

I've had winning streaks go as high as 8 or 9 games only to be followed by losing streaks of 5 or 6 games. My record losing streak is 12. I find this game to be quite streaky.

Oh yeah, you can win more than 3 games in a row.
I chuckle when you say the CPU has a severe advantage. |

I had a 22 game winning streak earlier in my current season.

In my season managing the White Sox, I had a 9-game winning streak, and a few other decent streaks.
Of course, those were followed up by a 9-20 August, and a 9-16 September. --Eriq. |

I've twice had win streaks of 30 games. I'd never broken the 10-game win streak barrier until I stopped playing every game and let the computer sim them. So... no, I don't think computer teams have an advantage at all. After you finish a 136-26 season, you sort of wish it had MORE of an advantage...

So I start a new league and decide to edit all my players into clones of Barry Bonds' 2002 season.
Get off to a good start, winning three in a row, about 45 runs in the first three games. Going for the fourth win in a row, the Bonds' clones take a 23-0 lead in the bottom of the ninth, and suddenly, my pitchers can't get anyone out. Not only did they lose, the pitcher gave up a grand slam to make the final score 26-23.
