Active career leaders

Ok, well the game doesn't come with real players so this really isn't possible.

What I mean is the players who are currently active in your league at any given time.

check this out:

CAREER LEADERS

ACTIVE LEADERS

...all I did was make a copy of the league & delete the RETIRED.DAT file in the copy... opened the copied league & ran the reports... since there were no retired players, you technically get an active list...

So surely, ootp6 can have an active leaders list that simply ignores the RETIRED.DAT file...

Thanks for digging up this old thread. I like the idea of this be easy to add in, but I'll try to keep from thinking it should be simple to program and thus be in there right away and instead hope to be pleasantly surprised by seeing it soon implemented.

It would be great, and just a simple toggle on the current career leaders screen should do the trick

Since this has found its way back to the top, thought I'd mention that the method described by Matt from TN does indeed work nicely to at least produce this. Of course it is not linked on the main league html page (or to anything else game-generated for that matter). And it is a little work to temporarily rename the retired.dat file so the game cannot find it, then create the career leaders report in the game, then restore the retired.dat file, then find and rename the Report.html file that holds the newly created "active career leaders" file in the League_News_Box folder. But the result is cool if you want to see the standings of the current players but have a league with a lot of history or just few current players on the leaderboards.

I worry that if this gets implemented it uses up my suggestion until everyone else gets something they want put in. What if I'm wasting it on this when I could get something really grand and great?
