BOSI Questions..
1. Do you currently use it plugged into PhP Nuke?
2. If we gave you Nuke like functions (being able to control the blocks that appear on the front page, provide forums/calendar, give you style sheet control over the look and feel, have a story submitter and front page), would you abandon Nuke for BOSI v2? 3. If you want to keep Nuke, would you have an issue with accessing BOSI through a link on your Nuke front page? BOSI would require a seperate login then Nuke. Jack and I are finalizing our plans for the new login/front page, and would like to know how important the Nuke plug in logic is to people. Losing it means we now have MUCH more flexibility when it comes to block and login design.

1. Yes for 4Ever Baseball and was going to for another league (shhh).
2. Not for 4Ever Baseball. I've put too much time and energy into that site to abandon it. However, based on the amount of customization permitted, I probably would for other leagues. 3. Again, not for other leagues, but I probably would for 4Ever. However, it really depends on the owners. Right now it is just so damned convenient. Especially during the draft. Everything is right there at their fingertips. Regardless of where they are, they don't even need to access the game. Everything they need to draft and keep up with what's happening in the draft is right on the site. This has been the most enjoyable pre season I have ever been involved with, in large part because of the BOSI integration on the 4Ever site. |

I would probably defer to other members of The FOBL, but personally I would like to see these functions 3. We do not have any plans to use PhP Nuke, so this is not an issue for us. Even though i use Nuke, i would be completely fine with Bosi ditching any nuke compatibility.

Re: BOSI Questions..
1. No
2. Ability to control blocks would be nice. A calender might also be nice. We already have good forums so that's not an issue. 3. No.. but then again we don't use nuke. I say make it a killer app however you can... people can always adjust. I'd love to see a front page with league leaders in tables on the side and a spot for a story in the middle or something to that effect. |

O5B doesn't use Nuke....
What I would greatly appreciate if it would be able to integrate BOSI with a normal PHP site. Therefore, some kind of manual which tables consist what information, so I can retrieve the info I want for my site. Some BOSI info is redundant with the standard ootp reports, and some info is really a huge upgrade (player development, pitching probables, financial report etc.) Ideally you create standard reports for people that don't want to toy around, including a basic website, and 2 more advanced "guide" how to integrate BOSI in a current website
