Experienced simmer looking for historical league

Hey all. I'm looking to get into an OOTP4 league that has a historical perspective. The further back in the past, the better. I've been playing sim baseball since I was 14 (I'm 32 now), starting with the APBA card game. I'm currently in 4 other leagues (2 sierra and 2 OOTP)and am a very active and accessible owner.

This is old school but not too old school. So far only 2 teams out of 26 have been taken.

Might be too recent, but the RLB needs an owner for Pittsburgh Pirates in 1960

and I still haven't found, what I'm looking for....

Looking to get further back like 40's or earlier. Would prefer an established league, just for safety sake, as I'm a very active owner and want to know the league will be around given all the effort I put into it.

Can anyone help me out?

Not sure how far back you want to go, but check out the QBA, we're just starting the 1904 season.

Our 4th season, just migrated from v.3 to v.4 and lost an owner, so have an opening with the Cubs. The commish's email is at the bottom of the front pg.

make that 4 waiting lists....i guess there just aren't many historical leagues running. i'd consider any stable historical league in the 50's or earlier
