Pierre's Player Editor

I'm using PE2b that I downloaded from OOTPlinks (I think). I can't use it with my file. When I try to open a player, the data seems corrupted. It won't display the player's name, though some names show up as strange computer garbage characters.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is this the wrong Player Editor for OOTP5?

as far as i know its for OOTP4.
i just tried that out myself

Yeah, there isn't one for ootp5.....
