Hi, I am using Cato version 5.3 with a solo-dynasty league.
I began the league in 1978 and imported the first season just fine. After trying to import the second season, I used Cato and get some error messages which I have forgotten. I think the problem is that i changed a team's name (from Bandits to Blue Birds) in Cato, but forgot to implement the change in OOTP5. I'm not sure if this was the error or not, as the team's abreviation did not change... but at any rate, I go back and run Cato again after fixing this. I didn't see anything that mentioned that Cato would get messed up if you try to import the same season's data twice due to an error, so I hope that is not the problem. At any rate, now when I run Cato, the program tells me that I have two copies of each team (i have a 18 team league and each team is listed twice in the program.... for a total of 36 teams) and I need to fix the duplicated team abreviations.. then it crashes. Now, I looked at my HTMLs anyway after the crash, and most things are OK. Team name changes have been implemented correctly and all the player pages and team specific leaderboards and stats look good. The only major problem I can find is that the league leaderboards were not updated with 1979 data. And of course, that is the best part! so needless to say, I'd like to get everything working againfor 1980 and future seasons. I have backed up my league file and html reports, but I am not sure what to do now that I am ready to import 1980. I'm looking for any advice you guys may have, and I'll update this after I am done trying to import 1980's stats (I'll back everything up first) to let you all know what happens... and if any of you have experienced somthing like this and /or know what to do, please let me know. Thanks in advance, oh... and here is my league page URL incase anyone wants to look: http://www.geocities.com/jekheckler/neba/neba.htm _Max |
