Question Scouts/Coaches on or off?

Hi All,

I will be starting my new league soon. I need your opinions on weather or not I should have the scouts/coaches on or off? What are the pros and cons? I am really looking forward to all of you giving me and anyone else who may be looking to start a league all the advice you can.
Thank you all in advance,
Jerry

I would say off. scouts are fun in solo because it sort of take away from the advantage you have over the computer because you are human but in a league with all human players everyone should be on an equal playing field I think

I agree...I really prefer a league with scouting turned off. It keeps everybody at a level playing field as far as trading, drafting, free agency etc. go

We ended up shutting them off. With them on, we got too many different values for each player. The game, the player page, and the ratings page were all different.

Maybe after your league has a couple of seasons worth of a track record, you could put them on, and use the track record as the basis for player's value. But, for just starting off a league, I'd suggest leaving them off.

I'd say leave them off, and maybe consider reduced ratings if you want the same kind of effect but more fairly implimented.

I tend to agree. I like the scouts and coaches in solo leagues, but in online leagues it seems best to leave them off.

Edit - Just realized that Sam up there posted almost the exact same thing...I'm losing my touch.
