New Fictional League Starting up Soon

Hey guys. I am starting a new fictional league, with 12 teams. We will start the league with a draft, and than move on from there. There is 1 team taken so far. 10 Left, as I will take the last team.

The league is based in Oregon, and its called the Oregon Classic. It will be a 84 game schedule, and there will be no coaches. As of now there is no salary cap. More rules will be up on the site later.

I am only allowing gm's with the game tho, as it will make it much easier to get sims up and in every week. If you are interested, e-mail me Bigwillis@comcast.net , or send me an IM at bigwillis16.

Not here to bash a league but want to let good owners know what they are getting involved in......

1. I was a part of real beisbol from the ground-up, the commish is a good guy, but a first time commish and TONS of mistakes were made, and this eventually led to running good owners off.

2. We got about 2 weeks into the first sim, the commish didnt like the way things started so we started the league over

3. The next sim we got about 60 games in, and he forgot to pay his website bill, when he finally did pay the bill and get the site back running, he started it over AGAIN

4. Also he alloicated a LOT of his responsibilities to AIM name TheCrowBrandonL, who runs people off if they won't trade him certain guys, and then wont allow certain owners into the league b/c he cant get along with them

Bottom line is guys that the commish is a good guy, but his league running skills are very poor, this will be his 4th attempt at running a league in the last 3 weeks, none making it past 60 games, i know b/c i was apart of the last 3 real beisbol sims, this league could work out but i wouldnt advise the "serious" GM to get involved in the league b/c it has a very very bad history

nah ej, i've had another name and posted a while back but since finding the leagues that im involved in i havent posted, and im not here to slam anyone just dont want anyone to waste their time.....

like i said i like the commish, think he's a good guy, but bottom line is i was in every real beisbol league from the ground up, 3 of them, and none made it past 60 games, so just making the good owners aware of this b/c there is nothing more disappointing that spending time to better your club just to watch the league go down the tubes

I was getting complaints about half of my gms who I may add were almost all 16 and very immature. Was it my decision to start over? No? I didn't forget to pay for my website, thats a different story, and we didn't start it over again. I had to end everything well because of the gms who cried about every little thing because it wasn't in there favor. Which is why I am now running a 12 team sim with gm's who actually know what there doing, and have the game.

Does it look like this "thecrowbrandonl" kid is in my league again? NO. I'm starting things over without gms who are going to run my sim into the ground. How about you save yourself some time and go get your own things up and off the ground. And stop trying to ruin things for me.

The serious gm? Come on man, atleast post who you really are and stop hiding behind the computer. If your mad because your one of the gms who ruined the league, don't hate me for that. If your mad because when the sim got restarted, you didn't get invited back in, that wasn't my fault either. I've already said I made a mistake in hiring thecrowbrandonl. But is he in my league this time? NO!

again not trying to ruin a league, just letting people know that this league has ran 3 times in the last 3 weeks and hasnt made it past 60 games....

i think your a good guy BIG, but your leagues havent been too successful, i hope it works out better this time, i just hate that people's time were wasted on more than one occassion, and i think its only fair to let people know that their time may be wasted again due to mistakes and over-sights

Problem is I am moving next weekend (away from Portland interestingly enough) What kind of timeframe are you looking at to start this up? Will there be a convenient to use website like many of the other leagues seem to have? I guess I'd like some details on the kinds of things this league is going to offer.

Do you own the game? IF you own the game... I will put the league file up after every sim, and you can easily export your lineups to ftp.

I am planning on starting the sim in about a week or so. Sims will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Around 7-10 games a sim. As there are only 86 games in a season.
