Invalid Player File
I have downloaded my league's league file today as I always do after a sim. However, when I start the OOTP5 program, I get an error message that says "Invalid Player File" and I can't access my team or the rest of the league for that matter. Am I doing something wrong?

Sounds like it is not installed/unzipped properly. Consult you zipping software help file and try again.
