Beat writers -- do they exist, or do commissioners just pretend they do?

Okay, to be honest, I haven't yet figured out what gets people to read threads on this board. On other boards that I frequent, all I have to do is make the subject a line from a clerks movie, and I'll wake up six hours later and have a hundred replies.

That said, the title of this thread is not, 'Ever wonder why all the prices end in nine? Damn, that's eerie,' because it has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Nor do the previous two paragraphs.

I've recently started Tournament League Baseball. We're two weeks into our inaugural season, or four days into it, depending on how you tell time. At any rate, it's dawned on me that, given the fact that the sims are done at midnight, that I can't really fill a whole page with stuff by the time I get done with the major article at 1am.

As such, I'd like some beat writers. These guys would be the first I'd ask as a replacement if I had to unceremoniously boot a deadbeat or extremely irritating owner. I'm of the opinion that it's one of the coolest leagues in the land, and most of my owners seem to share that view.

I enjoy being the AL beat writer (along with the trade analysis articles) for the High Heat league (http://wbl.end-on-end.com/)I am in, but since I am new to the world of OOTP (that and the fact I live in Naples Italy), I am only looking to join 1 league right now. If you have any openings before I join a league I would be interested. If not good luck with your league.
