Team histories/relocation question

In an earlier version of OOTP, I recall issues arising with moving teams jumbling the team histories/record books.

Is this still something that requires special handling or do histories now follow a franchise through a move w/out any user intervention?

Just in case I'm not asking the question clearly, here's the scenario.

Let's say I "move" the Devil Rays from Tampa to Portland, OR. And then I further realign the DRays to the AL West, Texas to the AL Central and Detroit to the AL East. -- Do the record book & team histories tag along with the roaming franchises or did they get end up in the lost luggage claim area?

I checked the FAQ & couldn't find this
one, sorry if it's a repeat.

I can't answer you to say this is no longer an issue, but I can say from experience that I no longer have trouble with team histories getting messed up.
I don't know if they fixed this or I have just been very lucky, I move quite a few teams around.

Thanks Kronos & spleen -- after 10 seasons, it's time for one or two teams playing to empty stadiums to get a fresh start.
