OOTP Loves C!

Why does OOTP love C so much? In one of my leagues, the computer drafted FIVE catchers for me in the latter stages of a 12 round draft. They all have similar ratings.

For what it's worth, I have found catchers are able to learn new positions more easily in the minors. I like having good hitting Cs in the minors cause I can easily make the 1B or OF. Not sure if this is a trend, but I do notice virtually every time I move a C he gets a range rating within half a season.
