One game a week. Usually pick out what the "marquee" matchup would be and play that one. Also all post season games..

I play out all my games...

Wish I'd play them *well*, at the least! But I play them.

I play all of "my" teams games. I don't understand how siming 50 season can be any fun. Course (old man rant coming) back in the dice and board days, we had to play every teams games. I wonder if it is different for those who started with consoles or computer games.

I play the marquee ones. The games where we get a shot at the division leader ( currently in 1911), or the one's against the previous years Champion.
Yeah you're right about the dice rolling days. I played APBA baseball, late 1970's, similar to stratomatic, of which i played some. Yeah you had to play all your games through for every team to get through your season and you know, that was a lot of fun.

I voted for the stupid poll, coz i thought it was funny. Seriously though, i only play out all my games with the real roster since that's the only way i can get into it. I prefer ficitonal rosters tho, even if i dont play out every game.

I used to play them out, then went to simming full seasons on one day.

I have recently gone back to playing out each game and I had forgotten how fun it is!

I only have OOTP4.

I sim entire seasons. I OCCASIONALLY play the All Star game (if I have a preference for a league).

I do both.

In my first league, with real rosters, I play out every game with the Phils. I will only play out the current season with this league.

In my fictional league, I sim every game. This is my franchise/mananger league.

I play the first game of every series ... so roughly 33% of the season ... usually once I clinch a playoff spot I'll sim to the postseason

By the way: Wilt, where did you get that video in your .sig? I have a friend who would love it.

I play out all my games...the deepest way to get to know your players, team and league....

I HAD a league I had started back in OOTP 3 but like a idiot...I deleted...thought I had a back up...alas, I didn't..

Its hell to try and rekindle the same connection...I had started with the OOTP 3 default rosters..and renamed all the players to their real-life counterparts...Rafael Furcal was like 20 when I started...he was 37 the last time I played it...was just weeks from getting 3000 hits...damn it...lol...
