Need Alaskan Logo

Hi. I know all you talented logo makers are busy right now, with entire leagues to make, but if any of you get a chance, I'd really appreciate making an Alaska Grizzlies logo for my fictional league. I'm in no hurry, and don't have any preference for logos or colors. I'd like to see what you guys can come up with. Thanks for your help.

Indeed it is a great logo. When I put it into the game though, the dark areas of the grizzly turn up with a bunch of grey spots like it's too high of a resolution or something. Any ideas as to how I can fix this? It's not that big of a deal and I can live playing with it, but any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm... really wish I could try it out right now, but unfortunately, I can't. Maybe one thing I can do right now is lighten just the black spots, and see if that helps.

AH - post a screenshot, if you can. Just want to know what it looks like and where to start.

Thanks.

The logo looks perfect only when in it's smallest size in the box scores after the game. The rest of the times the dark spots on the grizzly are not there, and it is instead replaced by the color of the background that the logo is on, usually white or grey.
Um, not to sound too ignorant or anything, but how can I take screenshots?

It's bexause of the true black transpanrecy issue, just brighten the logo by a little bit and it should work.

Jocobo: Did you convert it to "bmp" when you downloaded it?

I installed the logo in my game and got this results:

looks great on Game Options screen.

poor on Lineup screen...white dots on the black colored areas.

good on Pre Game screen.

fair on Matchup logo screen (this rarely looks good)

good on the Main game screen.

SHOULD THE LOGOS LOOK CLEAR AND DISTINCT ON ALL SCREENS?

I find that they only consistently look good on the Game Options screen.

That was exactly my first thought, as I suggested in my above post.

dbacks:

That new one got rid of the white spots on the lineup screen.

This one is better.

It should but you wont get that until they allow for multiple sizes of each logo. Until then the game will continue to butcher them as it resizes them from 150x150 down to 90x90 and then again to 75x75 and then even smaller for the matchup screen. It is unfortunate but hopefully in the future they will allows us to provide our own resized logos. Logo makers can control the quality of a downsize much better than the game can.

couriers:

Thanks for the information about the logo graphics.

Now I know it's the game setup and not my computer ignorance.

Definitely the game and definitely something that I would love to see addressed in future versions.

Yup, me too. Like those logos I resized in your thread, Eugene, I'm sure I can do a better job resizing than the computer because I have complete control of the quality of the image. I can edit it to sharpen and clear it up as needed, and anything else, as well as downsizing them. So I am in agreement with you as well couriers.

It only takes a logo makes an additional 1 to 2 minutes to resize the logos to end up with 4 different sizes for each team. The quality is so much nicer than the in-game resize option and this would only help to make OOTP to look all that much better. The developers should want their game to look as good as possible.

Maybe we should start a petition
