Introducing Born Again Baseball

It's 1965 and an independent baseball league has been created to compete with the MLB. Born Again Baseball (BABBL) is a fictional league, using v5 of OOTP. Join in the fun, as we make our own history, creating our own stars, and living our own memories. Some exciting twists to the league will include such thinigs as personal journals from players in the league, a couple of MLB defectors coming into the league each season, for multiple reasons (injuries, bad luck in the MLB, under-valued), draft lottery, and a permanent baseball era of "Baseball Bloom".

We ask that you do not register with the site at this moment. Please make sure you read the rules at www.babbl.com/rules.htm before applying for a team. Teams have been pre-drafted, and the HTML reports have all been updated.

*A little backround about yourself. Who are you, what do you do for fun, why would you make a good contribution to the league?

We will be holding applications for three to five days, depending on the number of applicants we get. We can not promise that everyone will be accepted, as we may recieve many applications. However, expansion in the future is definite. Newbies, do not be afraid about joining. We will gladly teach you anything and everything you need to know about participating in an online league. We are looking for a mix of OOTP veterans, and OOTP Newbies who can share their enthusiasm for the game with other folks. The main point of this league is to have fun. Keep all personal problems at the door before joining, and we promise you nothing but the best. Expect a detailed league, and dedicated commissioners. Like my buddy Jeff has mentioned, we still have a couple of openings in the league. Even though I am co-commissioner, and might seem a little biased, I promise you all that you will enjoy this league if you ever decide to join. Jeff and I are online all the time, like any other normal computer geek

We have a plethora of good owners so far, hand picked mostly from Jeff and myself, but we need a few "fresh" guys to hop on board, and try and make your way into the spotlight. Jeff and I are getting ansy trying to find these last owners, and I tell ya that's a good thing. I've never seen Jeff this excited for a league, and he is truly a master of online leagues, and has been involved in more than anyone I ever knew. To see him this excited, gets me even more into the league every day, and we haven't even started yet! Thanks for all those who have taken time out of their life to participate so far.
