I have started a new historical league and am waiting on more interested general managers to join up. Take a look at the site. http://www.legendsofthediamond.com.

We will start with a draft of all players in 1901.

Hello, I have been looking for an OOTP league to become my first online league, and this is what I am looking for. I love the deadball period and I am a real student of the game's history.

I bought 00TP4 about a year and 3 months ago, and have been playing it solo ever since. I have taken three solo teams for a total of about 50 seasons, but I have found I beat the computer too easily so I am looking for more of a chalange with online play.

I am already master at FPS online leagues, having won a total of 5 world series' in about 25 total seasons in my leagues. One of these leagues is folding, so I think this is the perfect time to branch out into OOTP. I love the look of your website (very proffesional) and the straight-forward feel of your consitution.

I am an artist and student out of Boston and a huge Red Sox fans, so this early incarnation of the Sox would be much apreciated. If they are taken, I will be OK with another club.

Anyway, I hope you will take me as an owner. I am upgrading to version 5 this week.

Never mind, I upgraded IE (I had 5.0, now 6) and it worked fine.

Do you use arbitration? Also, is there going to be an easier way to view the players eligible for draft? Like a rating system used within OOTP? Also, are you going to use the export to FTP when doing lineups? Sorry, but I didn't see any of this covered in rules.

No, there is no arbitration in this league. As for the player information, if you click on the Player Information link at the top left and click on the Free Agents tab, you should see all of the players and the rankings according to OOTP5. Finally, I was not planning on doing anything with FTP with this league (for now at least). But it is something I will definitely look into. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Hey Marc, I have entered your information for the Phillies so is no problem there. If you could check your web browser version. I tested the site using IE 6.0 and the latest Netscape version (I have no idea what it was though).

My other leagues in sig NABL started in 1901 too (the Reds suck though) and the APBL stated in 1871

Will we be able to email team exports for you to import

I sent in form...I want Philly A's if they are still available. Otherwise, I put remaining teams in order of preference. Yeah, in my opinion exports would be great. Whether they be a straight email export OR a FTP export would be up to you.
