FHM 12 - Contract bug

Have a bug with a contract offer to an RFA.

I was looking at an RFA player of another team on July 1 of a new year (Adam Fantilli) and clicked the offer contract button to see his contract demands. Without submitting a contract I decided it would be easier to trade for his rights and negotiate without original team just matching.

I did the trade at the following draft, but now the system is asking me to match an offer he already received, fine, but clicking the "match offer" button does nothing. I've let the game run about 10 days into the future to see if it just needs time (Like a trade request) but no reaction yet

I am not running commissioner mode, and can't manually assign him to my team or make a contract. And because I "looked" at his contract demands on July 1st and the system auto saves as the calendar turns to July 2 going back to the last save doesn't help.

Any other work arounds that can be suggested? Thank you!

EDIT: I had an idea that luckily produced a workaround. Ultimately I tried releasing his rights and then just signing him as a UFA. Thankfully it worked out so my personal situation is good, but I still recommend putting it on the bug list
