The Ultimate Solo League Challenge...

Hey Guys!

I posted this up initially as an idea in the dynasty thread, and after some discussion and suggestions, I've decided to go on with the idea and start this tournament. All I need is your league file so i can import the all star team of your solo/online league into the tournament. All entries are welcome, I'm trying to get at least 12 team in the tournament, but there's no max.

Participants are responsible of picking the allstars and transfer them onto one team in your league file, and name the team, *league name* allstars. ***Pleae Back uip your files before doing so*** You can either email me the zipped file, give me a link or transfer by messenger. The roster size is 25 with no minor leaguers. and DH for all teams. Including a league logo will be great.

This is purely for entertainment, an interesting break from your normal league activities. Please dont alter ratings or any aspect of the data just for this tournament.

PLease give me any suggestion comment, or questions as this type of thing has never been done before. So a lot of thing will need to be addressed. nothing is written in stone. Email me at paulyuan16@yahoo.com for more details.

Each team will be assigned to a division and play a few games of round robin which determines the playoff seedings. One team from each divison will make the playoffs (might be changed). Each playoff series will be best of seven, so every game is crucial. As you can probably tell, the tournament will be relatively short, so i'll probably sim rather slow. I have intention to have this tournament ever few months (real time). The gap is for all of the solo/online leagues to sim and therefore, every tournament the rosters should be a little different similar to the world cup of soccer.

So far there are four teams, hope there is more to come.

Regarless, the tournament will start on July 1st. If there are still only 4 teams by that time, we will just have a 3-game round robin and playoffs after that.

I'm also thinking to add a page where you guys can send me articles if you wish about anyone of your legendary players. I'll call it "Beyond the Glory" on the web site. Anything you send will be posted along with a coupe of pictures. I'll start one off with a article about my league allstar karim jimenez. It will be posted up shortly. I am a bad writer myself so everyone shouldn't be shy to send them in.

Are you using fictional or real teams? I can give you teams for the FLB and NLB if you want but I think it would be kinda stupid to use real teams because then there would be repeat players.

I would prefer ficitional players over real ones of course. But right now I'll take either sicne there are currently only 4 teams registered.

I would love to have a couple of online leagues in the tournament too.

here's an idea for online league entries, you can actually let the owners/gm's vote for hwo to represent in the world cup. Just a thought. Could be something to get the owners interests.
