batting and pitching ratings

Is there a way to change the default ratings we see as i value other ratings more than BABIP i am more a 20th century type of guy that doesnt need all the 21st century categories. If there is a way please let me know and THANKS

if not available. Hopes OOTP staff would give us that option in the near future

The Manage Cards screens can be customized in all kinds of ways. You can remove ratings columns you don't want and add whatever you do. Sadly, the ratings on the cards and when viewing the rosters cannot be changed AFAIK.

those ratings are the ones that are specifically important to determining how the card will do: if you use any other ratings than the ones on the cards, you are losing information.


eye/control -> BB/PA%
power/HRA: HR/AB%
avoid k/stuff: K/AB%
babip/pbabip: batting average when a ball goes in play
gap: % of hits in play that go for extra base hits

those cover pretty much every outcome that exists. most other ratings are either a composite of these that isn't worth looking at or something that doesn't directly influence outcomes
