Stadium Construction Issues

Hello!

I've noticed that any time I attempt to construct a ballpark in game, the wall heights, distances, etc. all get distorted after being saved. So, for example, I will set Center Field to be let's say 409. Save it. Go to the ballpark screen for the team - the Center Field is now somewhere north of 420. Happens every time.

Not sure if this is a known issue. I did do a search of threads and couldn't find anyone bring this up.

Am I going crazy or is this a bug that is being handled??? Thanks!

**Edit: I am running the most recent version of OOTP 27 (27.2.59).

Same thing happens to me and has been happening to me since OOTP 26. It is like the game has dimensions in mind already and I cannot find the rhyme or reason it does this. I just manually overwrite the dimensions, adding an additional step to each stadium, but it is really annoying. I think I posted about this in the bug forum last year, but it didn't gain any traction.

Glad to see I'm not going crazy and it's not just me with this issue. Hopefully there is some sort of fix or solution.

The worst part is that if you need to fix something for an already created stadium, the dimensions get reset. There is no avoiding it.

Looking back, it might have been since OOTP25. This bug was introduced in the OOTP that let you type in the dimensions and wall heights you wanted in the stadium creator.

It also confuses me because I try to be realistic with dimensions or try to recreate some of the more wonky historical parks we've had in MLB/etc. And then it gets all warped after hitting save.

It's more annoying than gamebreaking, but it takes me out when the CF is meant to be deep, but not 430+ feet deep :P.

Plus the autocalculate for the park factors is a bit confusing although I understand that's more about meeting with the league modifiers and all that rather than anything to do with this particular "bug" or "hiccup."

Would like a bit more control over how stadium stuff works and some clarity. Like maybe something that allows me to pick from a few options (think like little check boxes that give you a baseline for what you're going for, hitter's park/pitcher's park/neutral, LHB vs. RHB, etc.).

But I digress lol. Bit of an ADHD tangent from me.

Anyone have any other thoughts??? Just would like to use the stadium builder without having this weird stuff happen every time.
