Players on 40 man showing Minor League Contract
Just started a new Standard game but expanding in the 25/26 offseason.
While drafting I thought it weird that many of my selections were of guys that had made MLB appearances last year but were shown to be on MILC's. After the draft these guys are shown as being on the 40 man as I would expect but their contact still shows minor league instead of the MLB minimum. I looked at the other MLB teams and any player on their roster (both 26 and 40) not yet in arbitration or on a longer deal is showing them on minor league deals. Am I missing something? |

I think the offseason start doesn't properly count 40 man min. contracts until Opening Day, for whatever reason.
