PT Player gets Stats even prior to being acquired?

This afternoon I bought 100 Lenny Dykstra in the card shop. When reviewing his stats since activated in League play, he is showing stats for earlier in the year than when acquired, and even stats for prior seasons.

Please advise....screenshots attached showing when the card was purchased, and his messed up stats.

One more screenshot showing Dykstra with 45 games worth of stats only a couple of hours (about 4 games) after being activated.

if you buy a card from a team in your league the stats can carry over, but will be deleted next season.
