OOTP27 Live Start Error

Trying to do a live start today both on 3/25/26 and 3/26/26 and am receiving the attached screenshot error.

Things I've tried: Clearing the Live Start folder as the game suggests, verifying game files in steam, uninstalling and re-installing the game. None of the above fixed the error.

Starting a game WITHOUT using Live Start works fine, but I wanted to start a longer-term save with all teams having their opening day rosters.

I used trace mode and have attached the debug file here as well.

Is live start even available? The season just started. There is nothing live yet to deliver.

Opening night was last night, and Luisangel Acuna is still showing on the Mets roster because the Live Update doesnt work.

For Opening Day it should at least deliver correct Opening Day rosters.

And as of today, the season is fully underway and Live starts are still failing.

They shouldn't be failing. There is a bug where some guys are on the wrong teams that will be fixed next build.

But the live start itself works.

If they're failing with a message like the above, then one thing to look at is to make sure OOTP is whitelisted in any security or firewalls you use, as something might be interfering with the download. You can also try either turning off or turning on your VPN if you have one.

Mine does not work, it hits the point of downloading people.csv and nothing happens. Any clue? Like others i just want to play with the updated rosters.
