This league has a backstory from 1871-1900. We are now moving towards our third season (January 1903), with the American League and National League having merged into one grand association. Thus far, the Boston Americans and New York Giants have each won one title.

Currently the Pittsburgh Pirates are vacant.

The Pirates have a top 10 Budget, with the most spending cash of all teams in a Free Agent market that still has talent available.

The team's best player is RF Chef Canty, posting 4.5 WAR and 104 SB last season.

This is a league that looks to incorporate real life events (war, strikes, Free Agency, draft) along approximately the real life timeline.

We filled the Pittsburgh opening but now have an opening for the New York Highlanders.

The Highlanders won the World Series in 1902 and still have a top team heading into 1903.

We had a new user join, but he didn't last. Still looking for a Pittsburgh Pirates GM.

Let me be clear . This is a rebuild. The team will take a while to turn around. There are very nice Free Agent classes every year, but no draft. You will need to be an active GM to turn the team around.

are you up to the task?
