Any settings to reduce roster turnover?

Is there a setting I am missing to reduce the "churn" of players by AI teams. Looking to setup a 1980s stat universe, which I can do, but was also hoping to reduce the amount of roster turnover, especially in pitchers. In 2025, the average number of pitchers used by MLB teams was 29 (this does include position players), in 1985 it was 16.

When looking at a long sim using 1980s settings, I am getting the desired statistical output including starting pitchers throwing more innings, which decreases the number of innings pitched by relievers (and therefore theoretically the number of pitchers needed for those inning) , but I am still seeing churn of out likely replacement level pitchers - seeing teams use 40 pitchers in a season. I don't think there is a setting for "roster movement", so wondering if anyone has a solution for this.

And generally, if there is not a solution, I wouldn't mind seeing something added in the future that would allow the player to adjust the AI's transaction volume.
