Are some idiocy finally fixed?
I'm considering to buy the latest version, but i would like to be sure creators fixed some really total stupid things:
1. What are the most common injuries? While playing OOTP24 i have sore back, back spasms and back stiffness as 3 most common injuries while running. Sometimes there is also recurrens back spasms, rib cage muscles strains, broken fingers and dehydration. Harmstrings/ankles/leg muscles are very rare. While throwing (position players) back problems are of course the most popular, but sometimes there is harmstring problem too. Pithers also have to many harmstring injuries but who cares. Injuries during the collision - of course back injuries with neck stiffnes are most common. Sometimes something else. Setting all players back proneness to 1, and all trainers prevent back to 200 didn't help. 2. Bullpen usage I like to create fictional exotic leagues and manage few teams there, playing each day other. Despite setting roles (abd benching with 75% fatigue), the worst relievers are pitching more often than these better, despite the betters should pitch in many situations. 3. Closers usage Are closer still used in the 9th while team is trailing 15-0 (mop-up won't be used), and are they pitching extras until the die (or get to pitch limit)? And in every non-save situations when they all just above fatigue limit? |

Is injury type related to anything other than how long and otherwise randomly selected? I don't know but I can see the convenience of having sets of 3 week injuries, 5 week injuries, etc.

Do you have plenty of back injuries or all the other parts of the body?

For those with DTD I look at what the injury affects - running, throwing, batting - to make a decision about whether to keep them in the lineup. If a player is impaired x weeks he's impaired for x weeks and whether it's bone chips or a muscle tear, well, yawn. ![]() I recently had a 3B with a DTD injury that had a significant effect on throwing. I moved him to 1B and had my 1B play 3B. I care what an injury does not what it is. I believe stating the injury is to make the BNN articles that a player is hurt read well and it has no actual function. |

Do I need to point out the irony and start critiquing your grammar?

And again, if you see an issue with the just-released game, please provide precise details, screenshots, let us know what settings you are using, and potentially upload the actual game file for review. Coming on the forums and stomping your feet like a petulant child isn't the best look, in my opinion. But maybe that's just me. |

Secondly, I didn't call Osinho dumb, as your message infers. Those are your words, not mine. Here's what I wrote: I appreciate it when users give feedback - positive and negative - about the game. It helps me to better understand the game's strengths and weaknesses before starting a long-term save. The same way that I gauge feedback such as yours about posts that I made. In this case (and a comment I made on a different thread yesterday), I'll stand by what I wrote. |
