Less Aggressive AI
One thing I’d love to see in ‘27 is an AI — or at least the option for an AI — that, simply put, doesn’t make quite so many moves.
I recently started a save using CBL’s rosters; within about two weeks of game time, every computer-controlled team had released nearly half of their minor leaguers (including plenty of legitimate prospects), signed new minor league free agents, released many of them a few days later, and so forth. Most teams turned over about a quarter of their 40-man rosters as well — and few if any of these actions seemed to be about replacing low-rated players with better ones. It all just felt like a flurry of moves for the sake of moves, every day, which hampers the immersion as teams almost immediately race to stop resembling their real-life compositions.
I totally understand that the AI needs to be able to do its thing, but I do wish there was an option to have it err on the side of not making roster moves quite so constantly — to raise the threshold, I guess, for when it decides to make a cut or a MiLB signing.
