Any way to "revive" an inactive team?

When you remove a team from a league (not move, just remove), it will show in the league history page as "inactive"

Is there any way to "revive" it?

I could create a new team, with the same name/logo/colours, but it won't have the history.

In retrospect, I should have moved the team to an inactive league, or something...

been trying to do that for my WBC world baseball clasic as one nation is now inactive and been trying to figure out a way to make it active again. However i think i have plenty of players for nation even tried to make game create more players of that background still nothing working.

At the best of my knowledge it's impossible... the only way to bring back an "inactive" franchise is to move it to an inactive league when it became inactive and moved it when it become active again.

This is what I always do with the Chicago White Stockings after 1871 when the team went inactive after the Chicago Fire and came back in 1874. I transfer them in the empty AL after 1871 and bring them back in the NA in 1874.

If I'm wrong I'd be glad to learn another way build in the game...

For nation-based tournaments, isn't the way to reactivate countries to put them back in through the drop-down menu in the league settings?
