PLEASE: Need Help with Settings in Historic League

The “Import and Maintain real Minor Leagues” setting is killing my live leagues, and I need help.

I operate two historic leagues (1924 and 1939) that are integrated, allowing Negro League players to be drafted each year. Without turning “Import and Maintain real Minor Leagues” on, Negro League players will show up as free agents. I love having a more complete, competitive, and fair draft, but the cost we pay is that the minor league settings make it so no team can reliably manage minor league teams because “Import and Maintain real Minor Leagues” drops teams, or switches to new affiliates every year when the season changes over.

I want to find a way to keep Negro League players in the draft and have any kind of stability. I’ve been experimenting and asking around but has anyone encountered this issue?

Does anyone have a solution for it?

My understanding is you will need to modify the MiLBLeagues.CSV* and MiLBTeams.CSV*

These are the files the game uses to adjust the minor league setup from year-to-year.

You can find that file by going to Settings ---> Open folder containing customizable data.

*Make sure to save and backup the original file.
