What if OOTP Expanded Budgets Beyond Just Payroll?

I’ve been thinking about ways OOTP could add realism without hurting gameplay.
What about optional systems for:
Marketing & advertising budgets
Team/league taxes
Salary deferrals like real MLB contracts
It could add strategy, immersion, and even teach players how real teams manage money behind the scenes. Would this be something you’d use, or prefer to keep optional?

I think the issue that has come up in the past for some of these is that it is difficult to teach the AI how to value contract obligations that are deferred. For someone like Ohtani, the game essential treats it the same way MLB and MLBPA does, as the average annual value.

For the others, I think the issue is that those tasks are handled by neither the GM nor the Manager. I imagine if I was a real GM, there would be parts of the job I'd hate. The game tries to focus on the fun part of the job. That ain't taxes
