FHM 12 Appreciation Post

I've been a customer since FHM2 (longtime OOTP player) and I want to thank the small dev team on this latest edition. Thanks to the most recent patch, the 2d engine is much improved. I like the flurry of draft day deals. And I enjoy the training options that have been expanded.

Thanks again for all your hard work over the years.

I haven't purchased 12 yet, but I plan on it soon. I would also like to thank the team for this game. It has brought me great joy, and a little bit of misery, for many years (since the first iteration of the game!)

I continue to support this franchise, because the developers do such a great job at getting out patches to fix issues with the game. The game is far from perfect, but the franchise has come a long way since I started playing with FHM 4.

Its on sale for Steam Winter Fest! So now is as good time as any (unless you want to wait for Summer Sale for marginally bigger discount that is). For me 33% off is great and was worth the wait!

Genuinely my favourite game because of the historical options. There's lot of options on how you want to play though. Strongly suggest going commissioner mode first time through so you can understand the way its built. Its not perfect but its great fun.

Thank you for the kind words! With the Christmas Break now it is the perfect time for us to reflect on the game and make plans for the future. For me personally it is fun to look at what we have and rethink some of the core funtionallity (something the Community talks a lot about) and, based on feedback and things we learned in the past), re-do them going forward to bring FHM to new levels going forward.

By the way: after I talked to Markus at our Christmas Party a few days ago he reminded me how important Steam Reviews are for a small project like ours. So if some of you have the time and feel it is OK to write a (short) positive Steam review, that would help us a lot!

Definitely the best hockey management game out there. I've devoted so much time over the years. Thanks to the dev team for keeping the game going.

Another thumbs up from me. Bought it recently during the Steam Winter Sale and have been playing it non-stop since. Love the new training options and draft-day experience.

The new training system is outstanding and I feel like player aging is more realistic also - players age a bit quicker but also work on things in the offseason to offset their declines.

Well done with FHM12. A lot of necessary bug fixes, but what really hits is the new "training programs". Such an improvement for the game.

It shows, you not only need to invent new stuff for each version, but can also improve on the current functionality, which has so much potential to increase immersion and give us the tools to coach/manage better.
