Ootp free agent contracts
Contracts for 4 star+ players rarely reach 7 years, even if they are they are still ages 26-29 as a 4-5 star free agent.
We see with Juan soto, vladimer guerrero deals can reach 10-15 years plus, but I have never see that ever in a OOTP game. Is there a way to change that or do I have to change it manually. Would be great if this is fixed either as a update or in OOTP 27 |

Would be more realistic, though I think it's because the AI is more of a rational actor when it comes to FAs than real-life GMs. I don't think anyone operating purely rationally would have ever signed the Soto deal and probably not the Vlad deal either (though it will sting less because of its frontloaded nature + inflation).

I have 2 on my team. Signed Bichette for 7 years and Happ for 9 years.
And there are others from before I took over. Skubal signed a nine-year extension after I traded for him. Under the finances tab at the very bottom on the right, what is the max contract length set to? Mine is 15 years.
