Fictional players
I generally like to play with historical teams. Whether in historical seasons or fictional leagues with teams from different eras, the game will always come up with fictional players in order to fill in holes which has the result of making all the teams more alike. What are the pre-game settings I can use to avoid these? It takes forever to get rid of them manually especially when the game system makes you input uniforms and logos.

I'm still unclear. Do you mean fictional free agents or fictional draftees? The options and the various setting locations also probably vary depending on if you created a historical game or a fictional game.

There are fictional players on each team. Some have as many as half. I am using historical teams from different years which means it has to be a "fictional" league even though all teams are historical. I am sure many of those in the minors are also fictional. Many of the free agents are real players, cut by their teams, even though in many cases the fictional players replacing them are no better. Even my team is filled with fictional players even though I didn't cut any real players.

If you created the game as a Fictional league and you do not want Fictional players, you need to make sure all modes of fictional players entering the universe are disabled.
Everything on League Settings --> Players needs to be "None" Under Rules, the Draft needs to be disabled and the box for "Disable automatic creation of free agents" needs to be checked. You also would have needed to make sure you deleted any fictional players that were created at league creation before importing your historical players. |

Yeah after all these years there are still not good options.
There needs to be option differentiate and group/sort by fictional/real/real that never reach majors. Needs to be option of allowing x % of real that never reached majors allowed in majors |
