NCAA Issue

I get that this particular league probably has a lot of different metrics and coding stuff that pretty much makes it have to be a hard locked league. But man I don't like it. I took a job at a struggling independent school. In 3 years on the job I turned the program around. They went from a 3 win team when I got hired into a 20 win team this year. I'm ranked 11th in the country in the college polls, yet I DON'T make the NCAA tournament? Conference teams that had 13 wins and ranked below me got in though.


If its because I'm independent, that the game is punishing me for, why even have them in the game if there's zero point of ever contending for a championship. I have a feeling I could go undefeated with my independent team and still miss out.


This being said I wish the NCAA was editable. even just soft edit (like no adding teams or deleting teams) but having the ability to at least edit the divisions a bit. Like maybe have the power to move my team into the big 10.


If something like schedule strength is a factor, NOBODY in the whole NCAA had a more brutal schedule than the one FHM gave me last year. The whole year I had a grand total of FIVE home games, and I went 5-0 at home, and even had to roll into Ohio St. for a weekend series (swept them), Penn St. for a weekend series (split), and Michigan for a weekend series (swept them). How can you say I'm not deserving of a tournament berth?

LOL after posting this I simmed a few weeks. My year is done so nothing to do but sim. April first comes along and I get fired! WTF?!?!?!?!


I think the NCAA ai logic in the game is complete garbage.But maybe its for the best. Lets see which teams come calling on July 1.
