Phantom Features

Are there features that people believe are present in the game but actually aren't? I think so. There is a Reddit discussion where someone says there are more injuries in September and that is due to accumulated fatigue which isn't shown in a players rest status.

Another said there are more injuries in September because the game gets behind on annual injuries and uses September to catch up. Lots of speculation going on. And neither actually showed there are more injuries in September so they have theories for something that isn't proven to exist!

Anyway, I think there are many Phantom Features.

I was talking to a guy while in line at Walmart the other day and he claimed if you play the game backwards the play by play will only say "Paul is Dead" over and over again.

I think maybe you need to give the game a rest for a bit.

Got a good laugh from that.

Concerning phantom features, I like the one where people pull their pitcher after a couple of warning track fly outs on the theory he's about to get shelled.
