FHM12 has now been released, and can be purchased on the Steam store at https://store.steampowered.com/app/3...ey_Manager_12/ for US$44.99, with a 10% discount for purchasing this week.
If you buy the game on Steam, please consider giving it an early review; positive reviews can make a significant diffeerence in the game's visiblity on Steam in the days following release, which can have a very big impact on sales and our ability to keep making the game. If you prefer the Fastspring version, you can download it at Windows download link Mac download link Or download it through the links on the FHM12 website (that link may still show FHM11 for a while, though) The Fastspring pricing and discount are the same as Steam's. If you haven't purchased OOTP26 yet, it will be available as a bundle (at a 10% discount) with FHM25 on the Steam store page starting 5 hours from now at 10 AM Pacific/1 Eastern. Addiitonally, if you'd like to complete your collection of past FHM's on Steam, FHM11 will be added to the FHM Legacy Bundle, which also includes FHM3 through FHM10, for a 50% discount on their regular prices. A few notes on the release: -Please report any apparent bugs or other problems in the Tech Support forum: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...lay.php?f=4039 -Remember, the default Windows installation location for the game's data (including saves) has changed, it's no longer in the \Documents folder, but rather in \users\(your Windows username)(your Windows username)\AppData\Local\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 12 (the quickest way to find it is to go into Settings from the start screen, then Troubleshooting, and select "Open Customizable Data Folder", that'll open the main data folder and you can see e.g. the saved_games subfolder in there -We'll likely issue a post-release hotfix update fairly quickly to fix the first reported bugs, unless we get remarkably few reports of problems; that'll probably be next week unless there's something utterly game-breaking found Last edited by JeffR; 10-23-2025 at 09:16 AM. |

That'll happen if you've turned on Enable Debug Trace at some point. Go to Settings on the main screen, then Troubleshooting, then make sure Enable Debug Trace is unchecked. And then click on "Open Customizable Data Folder" and go to the \debug folder, and if there's a file named fhm_trace.txt there, delete it.

Ah, I just turned off troubleshooting and deleted the old trace file and now I'm seeing it, too. Seems to be an abbreviated version of the normal trace file. I'll have to ask the guys to take a look at that, it's not supposed to be doing that every time you leave the game.

Yeah, I think that's related to the trace file. For some reason the game thinks it's in troubleshooting mode. But it won't actually slow the game down, since it's not writing much in the trace (the warning was added when we had some things in troubleshooting mode that generated a ton of text in that file.)

How do I change "Open Customizable Data Folder" to another drive? I don't want to use C:

You can set a 'custom data path' from the main menu settings, I forget which sub menu it's under but take a look there. You will need to create a directory on the drive you want manually and then point it to that via the setting described above. Once you've done that it will copy the contents of your current data path to that new specified directory (and you can delete the old one).

Jett Stone is on the Calgary Flames depth chart as a prospect but he's only 14 years old. I think, he's supposed to be with the Hitman instead.

I love the added feature to define a start day for a league in Custom mode. A nice addition!

Edit: just seems to be him, the other Hitmen draftees from this year are OK. Weird. Last edited by JeffR; 10-23-2025 at 05:56 PM. |
