Another form of Random Debut
This is something I would love to see added to the game.
Random debut, but with a name scrambler and zero ability to see a players real stats. Would love to be able to create a random debut league exactly like we can now. Add an additional feature to OOTP that would assign a fictional identity to every player upon their being imported into the league. Make it so the real life stats page is absent from all players. I think the would be a blast to play. Would be fun trying to guess the identity of each player, but even more, it would be a blast to not 100% know how a players career will play out. |

Of course for this work properly, the game would also have to assign fictional birth countries, states/cities as well. That way one doesn't instantly realize the guy striking out 300 batters a season from Alvin Texas named John Tomato is Nolan Ryan.

yeah this sounds like a great concept!
I feel that's another aspect of the game that is ripe for developing. A whole bunch of quick starts or preset starts from key or memorable historical points of time. I know many players have crearted their own quick starts for download, but it would be great to have a bunch to choose from inside as pre-sets. |

I actually used to achieve this by going to a site that gave you a massive amount of random names, and I'd copy/paste them into the Master.csv file over top of the real names. Not sure where that site is anymore, but it might still be in my bookmarks somewhere.
