AI can't manage in game pitching

After not playing for a couple years, it's nice to see the AI still cannot manage in game pitching personnel decisions in OOTP. Starters routinely pitching too deep into games, throwing 115+ pitches, staying into the seventh in order to pitch to one batter when exhausted. Relievers pitching multiple innings for no reason (running their pitch counts up), and managers not playing R/L splits. How is this still an issue? It doesn't seem that hard to get the AI to manage the staff like they do in real life.

PS, does anyone have realistic pitching sliders they could share? Thanks in advance!

did you check your league settings under "stats ands AI". All pitching settings can be adjusted. Maybe your settings have changed. I had no issues, but I haven't played using this latest patch.

Did you check your team strategy to see what the manager's tendencies are?
