The Pan-American Baseball League (PABL) is a 24-team fictional OOTP league looking for new General Managers to take over the following franchises:

Colorado
Carolina
Tampa

General Information

Region: North America & Caribbean
Teams: 24 (Two sub-leagues: Federal & Constitutional, each with two 6-team divisions)
Season Length: 162 games
Simulation Schedule: Daily sims (~7 in-game days), between 9–11 PM EST

Rating Scale: 20–80
Overall/Potential Ratings: Hidden (scouting is key)
Development Lab: Enabled (Size 10), with detailed progress reports
Talent Change Randomness: 105

Roster Structure

MLB: 26 active / 40-man secondary
AAA: 28 players (no age limit)
AA: 28 players (max age 25)
A & SA: 30 players (max age 24)
Rookie League: Unlimited roster (max age 23)

League Rules & Settings

DH: Universal
Injuries: Normal (with delayed diagnosis)
Fatigue: High
Suspensions: Normal frequency
Chemistry & Morale: Enabled (minimal coaching chemistry impact)
Financials: No cap; Luxury Tax = 20% over 140% of league average payroll

Contracts & Free Agency

Max Length: 10 years
Options: Max 2 (team OR player, no vesting)
Min Salary: $720,000
Free Agency: 6 MLB service years
Arbitration: After 3 MLB service years (Super 2 enabled)
No extensions until 3 years of MLB service

Draft & Trading

Amateur Draft: 20 rounds (lottery for bottom 6), held Feb 1
Draft Trading: Disabled
Trade Deadline: July 31
Salary Retention: Up to 50% allowed
