#1 prospect on waivers? Wth?

This guy was the #1 international FA, the #1 Prospect, probable ROY and an All-Star. He has 3 options and is one of the best hitters in the game.

He's on Waivers. This is dumb.

I've seen questionable players on waviers since the latest patch...but I've reported this before and the devs saw it

That always reminds me of what Markus said three year ago: And I would love the perfect (yet still adjustable) AI for trading / roster management etc. But this is pretty much impossible.

Is it still impossible today? Who knows? I imagine that you could have better AI decision-making today. But the Devs would probably have to tear it all down and start over to make it work. That probably means skipping a release year while working full-time on all new coding of the game. Is everyone willing to chip in $40-50 to compensate for their loss of revenue that year while they are perfecting OOTP?

I'd be happy to do that if the Devs could give us the assurance that the "new" OOTP will, among other things, include AI decision-making that eliminates these problems. But I suspect that I'll be in the minority, unfortunately.

Sadly untrue, these issues seem to have arisen with the July patch, before that the releasing of prospects and waivering of top players was not as egregious, this includes OOTP 25 in my experience.

That's too bad. I'm looking forward to starting a long-term save next week. Have you reached out to Lukas and/or sent him your league files? Before the Devs can make a diagnosis and initiate treatment, they need to examine the patient.

I am in season 2041, started with current season. Also have been playing this game for a dozen or so years. This is the first time I've seen this stuff happening.

I'd like the devs to see if the AI can allow other teams to mark guys as "Cornerstone" players and make them untradable - like we do on our untouchable lists.

It has nothing to do with customizing settings. I'm seeing issues with default settings as are others
