Project Title: The OOTP Living Legends Mod

Hey everyone,

I've been playing OOTP since 2001 (OOTP 3), and it's still the best damn baseball sim out there. But there’s one thing that’s always bugged me. As brilliant as the simulation is, sometimes the players feel more like spreadsheets than people.

I have this dream where a player's career isn't just about their stats and ratings—it's about their soul. What if that rookie who just got a big contract and a confidence boost went on to have a career day against a pitcher he’s been slumping against? Or what if a free agent signs with a rival team because they have a coach he genuinely respects?

I can see the destination. I can see a version of OOTP where every player's personality evolves and changes based on their career, their teammates, and their interactions. It would add a new layer of realism and unlimited replayability to the game we all love. It would literally make the players feel alive.

The problem is, I know F* all about coding. I'm a dreamer. I've got the vision, I've got the ideas, and I've got the passion. I have all the "what" and "why," but I have no idea how to get to the "how."

So this is a genuine, humble plea to the community. I'm looking for someone—or a team of someones—who has the technical talent to match my creative vision. I'm looking for a partner who is just as annoyed by those random player decisions as I am. I’m looking for a genius who wants to be challenged by a project that could change the way we all play OOTP.

I've got a detailed design document ready to go. I just need someone to grab the torch and show me the way. If there is a coding nerd amongst us looking for a project that could make a real impact, please reach out.
