Trying to transfer my game to my new computer

I bought a new computer. I tried to deactivate the code on my old laptop and it says the code not registered to this computer. It is since I have been using the computer for 2 years with the game. I installed it from my very old laptop to this now old one and I want to install the game to my desktop. Any thoughts?

Are you using the copy and paste method to put in your license number? I had a problem doing that. In the process, I somehow picked up an extra space before a dash in the license number. That kept the game from recognizing it. Try entering it manually.

Also, I think you can only use a license on two computers at a time, so you may have to deactivate it on one of the current two.
