FHM 10 The WHA appears to have messed with my leagues file and created duplicate players
I've been doing a historic NHL save, I'm 40 years in now and haven't had any serious issues until today. I create a back up for my save on June 30 of every season. Once I do that, I make sure everything is in working order, do the draft, then move onto the next season. Everything was fine until I tried to sim past July 3. The game would crash every single time. I cross referenced with my backup save, and realized that the leagues.dat file was a lot smaller than the backup's (700kb to 12k).
I deleted the current save and put in my backup save, and discovered as soon as I sim to July 1, the leagues.dat file would shrink again. I looked at the WHA and realized that there were duplicate teams, the Philadelphia Blazers did not switch to the Vancouver Blazers as they should have (The other teams who were supposed to relocate and/or change names did), and there are duplicate players as well, so there's the original Bobby Hull playing in the NHL, and a new Bobby Hull playing in the WHA, same with Gordie Howe, Gerry Cheevers, etc. I have no idea how this happened. Other new leagues activated when they were supposed to, and haven't cause any issues whatsoever. I did go back and turn on the option to disable teams and move to July 1, hoping that would get rid of the duplicate WHA teams. But that got rid of the Ottawa Senators, and I don't want that to happen because I'm doing an alternate history save.
I would love to delete all the duplicate players, delete the WHA league and re-create it with a blank canvas, but I don't think I can do that. Is there a way I can fix this without having to redo the year I just did? Here's a link to a zip file of my save:

Any help would be appreciated!
