AI teams releasing drafted players

I'm finding a lot of high potential guys in free agents after the draft and a lot of them were just drafted and straight released by the team the same day.

Is this because there is a cap on roster size in the minors and they are all filled? Or is it just a plain old bug?

I've noticed this pretty consistently too. You pop in and sort by Potential you're going to find some top 20 talents of some number.

I have no cap on roster size at the rookie league level, and I am seeing the same thing. Good recently drafted prospects getting released.

Yep add me to this list. I have not changed the default roster size. In the first year of a new start almost half of the prospects in the of the Phillies 2025 draftees were released the same 2025 year. Same issue with later years draftees that were good prospects. This just stared with the latest version.

I created a post in the Tech Support/Bug Reports forum. Hopefully gets fixed for next patch, and hopefully that patch doesn't take too long. Sigh
