Great Japan Baseball League

So after one too many hashes of an old import, I decided to convert my Japan baseball reality to the Dai Nippon Yakyu Kiko... based on the name of the first pro team in Tokyo formed in 1934. Let's pretend they expanded to 12 teams scattered all over the archipelago!

And that they have one level of minors, the Development League.

A couple of the teams have similar names to tehsuigi's universe, but Hiroshima's a pretty obvious name and I liked the idea for Yokohama, so hopefully this all seems different enough to cause no offense! Use them in good health!

*Note: I play in 2D, so the jerseys/caps/logos will have the old naming conventions. Also, in most cases the main logo is sized at 300x300 to preserve the details of the drawings; you can resize them in your favorite graphics program to 50% size (150x150) if you don't like how they show up in-game. As always, most of the logos are copied from someplace or cobbled together from various parts as that's about all I can draw. Finally, since I don't use animations the pants/socks/fonts are pretty standard stuff I cranked out of Eriq Jaffe's uni maker, they may not be that great but people always ask these days. In general there will only be one font and set of socks per team so you may need to make multiple copies with different names to get them to work right, sorry I can't give tech support for the modern graphic stuff.

Descendants of the original pro club and denizens of the Tokyo Dome! Based mostly on the Ottawa Titans logos.

Sorry the tags are wrong on the graphics, the file names should be right but you may need to match things up manually.

I lived in Setagaya one summer so I decided Tokyo's "other" team was from there but plays in Meiji Jingu in nearby Shinjuku. The graphics came from a reddit thread I think, concepts for the ABA Baltimore Claws.

EDIT: Blindsay informs me the main logo was AI generated for his IBL project, I don't seek any credit for the logos themselves as I've said on all my posts so that goes here too. It will probably show up in somebody's Etsy shop next!

Loving the concepts already, Giovanni. Glad to see I've been an inspiration (and that Pucky the Whale continues to live on)! I bet you the Seattle Kraken logos would work really well with the Sendai Sea Snakes too.

I wanted one team to have a cutesy (kawaii) vibe, maybe more into fan service but kind of mediocre historically. Pucky was perfect, and I needed a green and gold team so here we go.

I'm going to post some 2D jersey/cap/logo sets I have done now and come back to crank out the pants/socks/etc when I have time to wrestle with the unimaker.

I also wanted a crazy color combo team, and one with a giant monster mascot (to take on the Titans!). I found this logo and doctored it a little and went on from there.

Aside from the obvious symbolism, there's a famous survivor tree known as the Phoenix Tree in Hiroshima. Plus I really liked the logo, another via the Clink Room.

Might just be me, but I'd swap the cap and jersey logos for the Phoenix - that speedbird-plus-H logo is sharp as hell.

And is the Osaka "O" from the Senators of the NHL? I bet you a barberpole jersey would rock hard.
